Newspaper Article from Georgia's work at Northern Health Hospital Epping

In 2019, Georgia Pitts started up her own Music Therapy program in the Paediatric and Neonatal Unit at Northern Health Hospital in Epping for 3 months.

Georgia was involved in independently delivering music therapy services to patients and their families on the children’s and neonatal ward . This was the hospitals first music therapy program in the children’s and neonatal ward. This independently led placement gave Georgia the experience in generating referrals, triaging patients and delivering music therapy services unique to a patient and their family’s needs. She also provided education and resources to staff and families on ways they could implement music therapy methods in her absence.
